Do I really get to live this life?!!!! Someone pinch me. Any hour doing what I love is a gift, but a whole WEEKEND?! 🥰🥰🥰
From a new project yesterday, to a film festival screening of one I am in today. To getting word that I’m cast in another project. This weekend is pure heaven. And I know this is not the norm. So I cherish it deeply while it’s here.
No joke, At 8 years old, I wrote an essay for class: SUBJECT- “What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up”. Where my classmates were putting ‘a pilot’, ‘a teacher’, ‘a vet’ (all noble and necessary), I put AN ACTRESS (maybe not as noble but I spoke truth then. And I am living that truth now!)
So this is for little Tati!!!!! Guess what little girl, we’re making your dreams come true 🙏🏼🤩
Proud of us. It may not look exactly how we expected it to (aka, the next Julia Roberts) but, we are still on sets, with good people, telling stories, while continuously deepening our craft. And THAT IS the dream 🤍
Oh and, we often get to play the antagonist (our Capricorn/ Scorpio energy helps us deliver, while our Pisces moon has the empathy needed to understand the characters). We’re on the journey you dreamt to life 💞 You & me.

All the good stuff that I try to follow.
another important regret on their list is “not telling enough of the worthy people to FK OFF”.
That one really resonates with me. It’s one that I never want on my list of regrets when I’m lying on that inevitable bed one day.
currently in my FK OFF ERA and I think they’re onto to something. It feels damn goooooooood.

I had a choice to pass on this, or release my ego & vanity, and step up to the challenge of playing the 65 / 70 year old matriarch (Grandma) of this family. I’m glad I sucked it up that day my agent called.
It was a fantastic experience from start to finish with a stellar crew and talented fellow actors. I also learned I LOOOOOOVE the power of walking into a room, and the breathing stops 😄🤩 I’m ok with that power if I’m blessed enough to get it off screen too 🙆🏻‍♀️

months and months of prep for one 70 minute show. It’s bitter sweet to end such a project. The heart & soul that went into it from all ends (performers to behind the scenes crew) was tremendous. The end of it is both welcomed and sad. I spent hours putting the concept together, from the flow, to the theme, to the costumes, to the feel, to the graphics. I’d rework & rework elements to match my vision until it felt right, and although exhausting, I’d do it over & over again!! ✨💛🪄
The magic was on the stage and it brought me pride & joy. My heart was bursting to see the end product but also that it was received by the audience so well. The bottom line is to entertain, and that’s just what WE did!!
Thank you to my team. And to @morongocasinoresort for bringing us back to celebrate such a momentous occasion!! We were there for your 10 year celebration, and to be back for your 20 year anniversary and entertain again is an honor 💖 Here’s to 20 more 💃🏻

it’s been a journey. challenge after challenge (

it’s been a journey. challenge after challenge (amongst the triumphs and wins). when I started my dance company 16 years ago, it was simply because I saw a void with quality event entertainment. It was also because I wanted more work for me and my dancer friends.
little did I know how to be a boss. little did I know how to deal with challenging personalities. little did I know there were good and bad ways to communicate what I needed and expected.
although I’m used to producing events regularly, this year I was approached to produce another huge 75-minute casino show. it’s been 10 years since producing a huge casino show. when I first got the call I said HELL NO!!! Not only does it take a whole lot of my life, but the bad memories came flooding back. I don’t want to go there again.
But then I realized, this is the universe offering me an opportunity to make new memories. To be a better producer, choreographer and boss. To prove to ME that I have grown. So, I accepted the challenge with excitement, dedication and also a lack of confidence. Could I still take on such a huge mountain?
Could I actually be clearer, more open, more creative, and a better captain of the ship?
This weekend, we started our first round of rehearsals for this show, and I am thrilled that I said YES!!! Not only because I am proving to myself that I have grown and changed. But because I FEEL IT!!! And that makes me proud and grateful. Grateful that I learn and grow. 🌿
Plus, this age thing is fr!!! After all these years there’s also that new feeling of IDGAF what anyone else thinks now. 🙌🏼
Thank you to my Scorpio Stellium too, for it is with that strong energy that I am not afraid to shed old skin, and emerge with a new layer each and every time. Big challenges = Big growth 🦋💫
